This Mini Ceramic Grills is Japanese Kamado Type. It is made by enamel. Kamado grills, in a variety of forms, have been around for hundreds of years. Examples of their predecessors, such as clay pots in China, date back at least 3,000 years. A style in Japan which is consisted of a clay pot with a removable domed lid, a damper, and draft door became quite popular. It was originally called a “Mushikamado”, so its name was eventually shortened to “Kamado”, which in Japanese literally means “cooking range” or “stove”.
